Natural Action IS A COLLABORATIVE NATURAL Wine CluB WHOSE MISSION IS TO foster diversity, inclusivity, and change within the wine industry by empowering the BIPOC community with education and career opportunities. WE ARE A CERTIFIED 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT, WHICH CONTRIBUTES PROFITS from club subscriptions TO SUPPORT THE hosting AND SUPPORT OF select BIPOC students to enter the wine industry. WE PARTNER with like-minded NATURAL winemakers who meet OUR criteria AND in-turn, offer exclusive product to our members.
OUR CRITERIA FOR WINERIES TO JOIN IS AS FOLLOWS:
You are committed to fostering diversity, inclusivity, and change within your own company and the wine industry as a whole
You are actively looking to provide job opportunities or internships to the BIPOC community
You practice the ethical treatment of farm workers You practice sustainable farming methods
Must use organic and/or biodynamic grapes
No use of harsh herbs and/or pesticides
Minimal intervention
You pledge at least 20-25 cases (we suggest 1 barrel)

WHY EDUCATION?
Through our network of winemakers, wine retailers, and sommeliers students will gain vital on the job training pushing them closer to their career goals. In addition, our constituents within the wine industry as well as our club members will receive educational assets. Via events, social media posts, and bottle packaging Natural Action will constantly offer moving lessons in black history and achievements. Partnerships with various BIPOC contemporary artists as well the Kinsey African American Art & History Collection provide a wealth of rare works used in our labeling and club merchandise. Furthermore, creating well needed conversation surrounding history and how it affects our lives currently. Natural Action is a response to the lack of career opportunities offered to the young men and women of the BIPOC community. With hopes to create inclusive environment that reflects the world around us.
