Eric is a Los Angeles based winemaker and founder of Good Boy Wine. He is a multi-entrepreneur who is passionate about building businesses that expand perspectives, make an impact, and foster diversity. He is also the co-founder of Hipcamp, the "Airbnb of Camping," and a partner in the hospitality group, West & Wild.

Khalil kinsey

Based in Los Angeles, Khalil Kinsey is Principle / GM / Chief Curator for The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection - Director of the Kinsey Foundation for Art & Education - and co-founder of Westside Winos Wine Syndicate. Khalil travels the world speaking to audiences on the importance of African American history, racial equity and social justice, as well as art collecting and cultural preservation. With a passion for youth and youth culture, he works with many organizations across the country as a consultant in the areas of art, education, mentoring and communication.

simonne mitchelson

Simonne has been involved in the wine industry since she was 18 years old. Her resume includes everything from production assistant of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Tasmania, Australia to the General Manager of a vineyard and winery in Sta Rills Hills, California. More recently, she has created the first scholarship of its kind at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo for BIPOC students to pursue degrees in Enology, Viticulture, and Wine Business following her passion for equity for the BIPOC community.

teron stevenson

Teron Stevenson is partner / GM / wine director of The Friend Bar and The Little Friend bar in Los Angeles, Ca. In addition, co-conspirator of Westside Winos Wine Syndicate. His experience with the lack of access to programs outside of basic education in his community is a persistent issue. Therefore, it is Stevenson’s mission to bring awareness to platforms that aid BIPOC students in broadening their horizons and actualizing their dreams.

Justin Trabue

4th generation native of Washington, DC, Justin moved to California in 2013. Named after the iconic Justin Isosceles, wine was always in her future. Justin has had the opportunity to study abroad in Adelaide, Australia and after turning 21 Justin decided to begin working with Lumen wines under the Cal Poly Wine Internship program. She has worked her way up to Assistant Winemaker after spending a sabbatical In Hawkes Bay, NZ at Pask Winery. You can also find her at Ancient Peaks Winery where she is Hospitality Supervisor. When she is not in the cellar you can find her in the kitchen, watching scary films, or chatting over a glass of wine.

cameron & Mar porter

Cameron and Marlen Porter are the owners and winemakers of Amplify Wines. Raised in Santa Barbara County, they created Amplify Wines to express the character of their home region through naturally grown and crafted wines. With a combined 29 years in the wine industry, from restaurant and retail to winery management and cellar work, they have seen firsthand the need to foster more diversity in the wine industry.

Katie is an LA-based Motion Picture Costumer and intern at Good Boy Wine. Her natural wine journey only began a few years ago but she looks forward to continuing to learn about the art of winemaking firsthand. She strives to create similar opportunities for others—especially members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community.
